To refresh your blog page in browser...........
you have to refresh the browser cache. What is 'cache'? Often referred to as the cache, the Temporary Internet Files folder contains a kind of travel record of the items you have seen, heard, or downloaded from the Web, including images, sounds, Web pages, even cookies. Typically these items are stored in the Temporary Internet Files folder.
Storing these files in your cache can make browsing the Web faster because it usually takes your computer less time to display a Web page when it can call up some of the page's elements or even the entire page from your local Temporary Internet Files folder.
To clear your cache:
1.On the Internet Explorer 6 Tools menu, click Internet Options. The Internet Options box should open to the General tab.
2.On the General tab, in the Temporary Internet Files section, click the Delete Files button. This will delete all the files that are currently stored in your cache.
3.Click OK, and then click OK again.
ALTERNATIVELY press CTRL while pressing reload button in Firefox and press F5 in Internet Explorer.

If you're using Netscape:
(for Netscape 6, ignore steps 7 and 9)
1. hold down the shift key
2. click the "Reload" button
If you're still not seeing the updated page, do the following:
3. select "Preferences" from the "Edit" drop-down menu
4. click the plus next to "Advanced"
5. click "Cache"
6. click the "Clear Memory Cache" button
7. click the "OK" button
8. click the "Clear Disk Cache" button
9. click the "OK" button
10. click the "OK" button at the bottom of the "Preferences" page to return to the browser window
11. click the "Reload" button on the browser window

Thanks -- this just helped me with a problem that had been plaguing me for a while!
Vin,
Thanks for your help. I get the sense that I'll be returning here periodically, as I'm (obviously) a newbie to this blogging thing.
Thanks for the book suggestions too.
I still can't see all the page elements. Half of it is gone in Firefox and in IE one of my sidebars is invisible. I mean, page elements. Help!

Abookworm,
Can you specify which page elements are missing exactly?
Looks OK in Firefox2!
Can you not add them back?
Always backup Page Elements as they are deleted on changing Layouts Templates.
